Rex Miller, a distinguished expert in optimizing human and team performance, and who has helped leaders foresee and leverage trends and risks, will be the keynote speaker at APPA’s 2025 Spring Conference in New Orleans, LA. Miller will speak to the conference at 8:00am on Thursday, April 10.
In over two decades as a consultant and coach, Rex has led innovation across various sectors, such as integrated project delivery, education, workplace engagement, and corporate/educational wellness. Miller created the MindShift process, a “Barn Raising” approach that has brought together over 400 experts, owners, users, and stakeholders to tackle systemic challenges leaders face today, especially after the pandemic.
GeniusSpark is Rex’s latest venture that builds on NASA’s Apollo research, which discovered that 98 percent of five-year-olds operate at a genius level. This figure drops to just two percent by adulthood. GeniusSpark seeks to stimulate that childhood genius and empower people to rediscover their potential. Additionally, Rex and his wife, Lisa, acquired a historic ranch and retreat center in Glen Rose, Texas called River Rose.
Rex has received numerous accolades for his leadership and innovation, including the IFMA Distinguished Author Award, CoreNet’s Industry Excellence Award, and the Global Innovator Award. He is particularly renowned for his ability to develop high-performing capital project teams rapidly and is a pioneer in Integrated Project Delivery.
