APPA is offering a new opportunity—exclusively for Platinum Business Partner members—to sponsor APPA’s 2025 Thought Leaders Symposium and Report. As an APPA Business Partner, you’ll attend the Symposium—a premier networking event—gain industry insights, and the opportunity to showcase your company to key decision-makers.

Launched in 2006, APPA’s Thought Leaders Series is an annual symposium discussing the future of education and its impact on educational facilities. Each year, representatives of colleges and universities from across the United States and Canada come alongside association leaders, industry consultants, and education experts from higher education to tackle a significant issue or challenge facing facilities management in educational institutions.

Invited participants, with the assistance of a facilitator and subject matter experts, collaborate in smaller groups to discuss topics in detail. Report outs are made, and suggestions are distilled into actionable items, culminating in the Thought Leaders Report.

The 2025 theme will center around challenges to higher education, including a declining student population base and rising tuition with discount rates under stress. At the same time, the value and relevance of a traditional four-year degree are under question, and student competition is growing. The 2025 Thought Leaders Series participants will tackle the importance of excellence in this competitive learning environment and address the role of Facilities and Capital Planning in this evolving landscape on campuses across North America.

Sponsorship Details:

• Attendance at the symposium is by invitation only, and highly regarded as a tremendous learning and networking opportunity. It is one of APPA’s most valuable contributions to the field of facilities management, and the final report is sent to over 26,000 facilities professionals.

• The sponsors are prominently listed in the final report, website, as well as additional articles and messages promoting the symposium and report.
• Sponsorship includes all travel and lodging expenses for your participant(s) at the Symposium in Alexandria, VA, March 3-5, 2025.

 Level 1: $15,000 (3 maximum sponsorship spots available)

• Includes participation in the 2025 Thought Leaders symposium by having one representative from your company participate in the symposium.

 Level 2: $25,000 (2 maximum sponsorship spots available)

• Includes participation in the 2025 Thought Leaders symposium by having two representatives from your company participate in the symposium.
