APPA invites you to submit for consideration programming for the fall 2021 APPA Facilities Symposium. Our goal for this professional development offering is to present solutions for improvement, sharing of continuous improvement strategies, or innovative approaches relevant to facilities professionals throughout the educational community. Each of us are experiencing triumphs on campuses, striving for excellence, and embracing change at an exponential pace. Be a part of the 2021 APPA Facilities Symposium by sharing your knowledge with a proposal submission by September 3, 2021. Potential Topics We are especially interested in proposals around new and emerging issues in educational facilities. Additionally, we are interested in proposals that will address issues pertaining to: -Aging Facilities Infrastructure -Budget Issues/Reduced Resources -Creating & Cultivating the Facilities Management Community -Customer Service -Data-Based Research & Assessment in Practice -Developing Key Performance Indicators & Aligning to Those Indicators -Embracing New Technological Innovations -Energy Management & HVAC -Facilities Master Planning -Healthy Buildings Impact on Campus Operations -Managing in Organizational & Operational Change -Staff Relations -Space & Design -Succession Planning & Succession Management Virtual programming will occur November 9-11, 2021.
