The final offering of APPA U for 2024 is just a month away in San Antonio, Texas (June 24–27, 2024), and spots are filling up fast. One core section is now sold out.
APPA U consists of the long-standing Institute for Facilities Management and the Leadership Academy, offering the convenience of several educational opportunities in one location. Added to APPA U in San Antonio is the bilingual Supervisor’s Toolkit that was recently piloted by the Central Region of APPA (CAPPA).
Traditionally, APPA U has been held in January and September. Beginning this year, the second offering has been moved from September to June.

- Institute for Facilities Management: June 24–27
A robust lineup of educational programs for facilities professionals at every career level. In addition to topic-specific courses in the four “core” curricula that every IFM graduate eventually takes (Energy & Utilities, Geneal Administration, Planning, Design & Construction, and Operations & Maintenance), attendees also select from a wide range of electives. - Leadership Academy: June 25–27
The Academy offers every opportunity and angle for those who want to focus on all aspects of FM leadership (individual, interpersonal, managerial, and organizational effectiveness skills). - Supervisor’s Toolkit (Bilingual): June 24–27
This bilingual course takes a structured, open-ended, and pragmatic approach to developing supervisors and helping them realize personal and professional growth. It is taught in English and Spanish.
