Now is the time for you to register and make sure you have a spot for the first offering of APPA U for 2025, which will be held in Fort Worth from January 6 to 9. Sessions are beginning to fill up, with a couple close to selling out.
APPA U consists of the long-standing Institute for Facilities Management and the Leadership Academy, offering the convenience of several educational opportunities in one location. The Fort Worth APPA U also offers the Supervisors Toolkit.
APPA U Schedule and Details:
Institute for Facilities Management: January 6–9
A robust lineup of educational programs for facilities professionals at every career level. In addition to topic-specific courses in the four “core” curricula that every IFM graduate eventually takes (Energy & Utilities, General Administration, Planning, Design & Construction, and Operations & Maintenance), attendees also select from a variety of electives.
Leadership Academy: January 7–9
The Academy offers every opportunity and angle for those who want to focus on all aspects of FM leadership (individual, interpersonal, managerial, and organizational effectiveness skills).
Supervisor’s Toolkit: January 6–9
The Supervisor’s Toolkit is specifically designed to meet the needs of the facilities management professional. It is a structured, open-ended, and pragmatic approach to developing supervisors. It is not so much a teaching program as a development process designed to help supervisors realize personal and professional growth. The program has been newly designed as a full three-day training. Spanish versions of the instructional manual will be available.
