APPA U Begins in Fort Worth with a Pre-Pandemic Attendance Level

January 6, 2025

Over 400 facilities professionals, including three from outside the United States, are in Fort Worth, Texas, as APPA U kicked off with an attendance level not seen since before the COVID-19 pandemic.

After registration and a networking lunch, core classes for the Institute for Facilities Management (IFM) and Supervisor’s Toolkit began the first day of APPA U. Attendees also took advantage of networking breaks between the afternoon’s sessions. Sessions for Leadership Academy began Tuesday, January 7.

Networking opportunities will continue during breakfasts and lunches, as well as breaks between sessions. A networking reception will also be held for all attendees.

Courses for all three APPA U sections will run until Thursday, January 9. A graduation reception will close the event.

Registration opens Tuesday, January 7, for the next offering of APPA U in 2025, which will be held June 2–5, 2025, at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. Click here to register for the June session of APPA U.

APPA U traditionally consists of two signature professional development programs—Institute for Facilities Management (IFM) and Leadership Academy. Supervisor’s Toolkit is an additional program offered as part of this week’s APPA U.
