Facilities Manager is published by APPA, the leading authority on educational facilities management.  Eighty-seven percent of readers rate it as one of the top three must read industry publication and eighty-three percent of these facilities professionals read the magazine regularly.

Our Bookstore features many titles on facilities management as well as popular books that promotes leadership.  Also available is the Facilities Management Manual that since 1984, facilities professionals have relied on for guidance. The book examines leadership styles, types of people in an organization, and the importance of mission and vision statements.

Study Shows School Cleanliness Affects Learning

A recent national study of college students determined there is a correlation between the cleanliness of a school’s facilities and students’ academic achievement. Entitled Cleanliness and Learning in Higher Education, the study was based around the five levels of clean identified in APPA’s Custodial Staffing Guidelines for Educational Facilities. More information.
