Servimos para ayudar oficiales de instalaciones y administradores de planta fsica en colegios, universidades y otras instituciones educativas. Promovemos la excelencia en la administraci n, el cuidado, las operaciones, la planificacin y la construcci n de instalaciones educativas. APPA sirve a la comunidad entera de la educacin conduciendo investigaci n y programas educativos, haciendo publicaciones, marcando las pautas reveladoras y como fuente central de informacin.

Study Shows School Cleanliness Affects Learning
A recent national study of college students determined there is a correlation between the cleanliness of a school’s facilities and students’ academic achievement. Entitled Cleanliness and Learning in Higher Education, the study was based around the five levels of clean identified in APPA’s Custodial Staffing Guidelines for Educational Facilities.
